Acts 29 Church in Hard Places

In the world’s poorest communities life is just hard. Life expectancy is low, crime is high, drug and alcohol addiction is extensive and mental health issues, abuse, and neglect are widespread. But there is also something special about these communities, there is often a rich sense of community and loyalty and many people are happy to call these communities home. However, many churches in poor communities lack access to affordable and relatable training.

The Acts 29 Church in Hard Places Workshop is designed to train and equip the church to evangelize, disciple, and grow Godly leaders in Hard Places. These workshops will highlight core principles for building healthy gospel churches among the poor.

Church in Hard Places is a global initiative of Acts 29 to see churches planted in the world’s poorest communities.

SPEAKER: Matthew Spandler-Davison: is the Operation Manager of Acts 29 Church in Hard Places. He is a church planter and the Pastor of Redeemer Fellowship Church in Bardstown, KY. He is the Executive Director of 20schemes, a church planting and revitalization initiative in Scotland. Matthew was awarded his doctorate by The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, KY.
